As part of iPay's continued quest for excellence, the management sent its project managers and senior officers to an Internal Audit Training last September 10-12, 2009.   The intensive three-day training is intended to promote awareness on the importance and all the processes involved in internal auditing. It is also aimed to develop auditing skills among the participants and eventually create a team of skilled internal auditors.

The training was conducted by Mr. Varian Sherwin T. Ojeda, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from Q Consult, Inc. iPay now has a team of certified internal auditors that would make sure that the company is on its toes at all times.
This Internal Audit Training is another step taken by the company in compliance with several financial regulations both on the local and global scales. These include BSP's E-money Issuing License, Payment Card Industry and Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and ISO27000. To be certified and licensed by these standards translates to a highly secure data and transaction management in all iPay systems.
