iPAY expands its reach to china

iPay joins the first ever CashToChina (CTC) Workshop that was held in Beijing, China last June 2009. Hosted by the China Postal Savings Bank (CPSB), the objective of the event was to introduce the China Post (CPO) CashToChina (CTC) Online Remittance Service.

Apart from iPayment Solutions, Inc. represented by Debrielle Mortola-Santos (IT Project Manager) and Maria Lourdes Jarabejo (Marketing), the workshop was joined by global players in the money transfer industry including Xoom, Unistream, MMS  Worldwide, Money2Money, Sai-Jacf (Re-Suisse), Merchantrade, IME, iPay88, Speed Order, Metro Exchange and Remit2Indonesia among others.

Part of the workshop was to bring the delegates to the China Post headquarter, branches and the data processing center, giving iPay a firsthand experience on CTC's operation. In addition, iPay further expanded its business network through exploratory discussions with co-delegates.

In totality, the relationship that was established in this workshop resulted to iPay covering the remittance corridor going to China. This means our cardholders can now send money to China and allow beneficiaries to cash out at any of China Post Offices and also deposit money at any China Postal Savings Bank, all of which with 46,000 outlets in total.
