iPay's iDonate helps Ondoy victims through Red Cross

Following the onset of Typhoon Ondoy and the plight of thousands of its victims, IPayment Solutions, Inc. (IPay) believes that Filipinos here and abroad shall band together to extend support to their kababayan. By providing a convenient means to raise funds, a modern-day form of bayanihan, IPay aims to be an instrument of hope to those adversely affected.

IPay has joined forces with the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) to further expand its avenues of collecting cash donations nationwide and abroad. IPay, a Filipino technology solutions provider, services a wide array of clients through its payment services available through mobile phones and the internet.

Using the same convenient, safe and user-friendly technology, IPay has developed iDonate as its electronic fundraising platform. Clients who already have IPay-powered cards may now send in their cash donations to benefit the PNRC. Interested donors may also register with IPay's partner clients and merchants to avail of this fundraising feature, as well as the other built-in feature of each IPay-powered card.

iDonate will be a permanent feature for all cardholders of participating IPay partners. Aside from continuous support to the PNRC, IPay also aims to partner with other non-government organizations and charitable institutions to provide them with a donation-collecting platform that is efficient, accessible and secure.
