Bayad Center and i-Pay partnership to benefit Filipinos overseas
i-Pay, in partnership with Rechargeplus Stratagem, Inc., signed an agreement with Bayad Center, the Philippine’s leading payment center, to accept bills payment overseas.
The agreement is said to take on a new meaning of bills payment. It will allow Filipinos overseas to purchase goods, prepaid phone cards, cell cards and internet cards, withdraw cash from ATMs, pay bills and the best of all, remit money at a mere One (1) USD processing fee. Filipinos overseas will now be able to directly pay for the bills of their loved ones in the Philippines from anywhere in the world!
“Filipinos abroad can be saved from the hassle of having to remit money to their beneficiaries in the Philippines just to have the monthly bills paid,” says Bayad Center AVP Aida Yuvienco. She explains Bayad Center is continuously partnering with key organizations to provide convenience to all Filipino subscribers here and abroad.
A reloadable prepaid card will be provided by i-Pay and Rechargeplus, which will be used by cardholders to process these transactions. The payment service on the other hand will be available in the US, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Middle East.
“With this service, Filipinos overseas can personally pay their monthly bills for Meralco, Maynilad and more, making their families feel their presence. They can still be in charge of settling the family’s monthly dues,” says i-Pay President Maner Puyawan.
